A tiny kids playhouse shaped like an Alien? Q-bert? Spongebob Character?

 This one's called the "Playcave" from the company Nido ("Neato"- get it?)- I'd never fit inside this thing, then again, I'm no kid, but it still is rather slick looking in a simple and bold way. Oh yeah, it is $599, which seems a little painful, but then again, I'm not sure how large this is- its tough to tell. Either way- me like!

A plywood, notched-to-fit/assemble, double-decker kids fort/playhouse/clubhouse- pretty dang cool- the concept/approach could make for some great little treehouses as well!

"The Little Blue Bump" Ground Fort or Treehouse (micro cabin)

I always liked this photo/the colors. Its a micro cabin I designed, dubbed "The Little Blue Bump"- it was made with students, and my brother Dustin and I, at our Relaxshacks.com Tiny House Building Workshop in MA last year as a small project for people to swing some tools at.

A grain silo hideout for kids/adults (a backyard office, guest sleeper?)

 Love this one. Its made from a small grain storage silo, with a couple industrial feed troughs welded to it. It could be a small shedworking office, a micro art studio, or a really cool kids clubhouse....

A tiny rabbit-hutch-like playhouse/mini-cabin for kids (8' long) built by Curt Lyons from Fort Collins, Colorado- this little cabin was inspired by "The Little Blue Bump"- a cabin I designed and built for a video on youtube, which was based off designs/concepts from my book "Humble Homes, Simple Shacks"- which you can check out in the right column of this blog....

A Baumraum "snap" together treehouse/treefort kit for kids

Quite a clever little kit treehouse, which fits together without nails, then is strapped/tethered to a tree trunk. It looks like this tiny playhouse is made from just a few sheets of plywood- digitally routed, I'd assume.
