A complex/compound of tiny forts, shelters, and shacks

Here's a gathering of shelters, forts, garden pods or sheds (call them what you will) that actually reside in my own backyard- many of which are featured (interior close-ups, etc) in my shelter design and tiny housing book "Humble Homes, Simple Shacks". A Kid or ADULT beach fort/blanket fort- for relaxation....

What a great set-up, and a great photo! My heart rate seems to slow right away when I look at this photo. Its part blamket fort, part Arabian tent- ALL on the beach!

A different sort of "Log Cabin" fort/playhouse for kids

This little kids fort/playhouse gives new meaning to the idea of a "log cabin". Pretty creative- and er, pretty dangerous if it all comes crashing down.....although I assume there is some inner structure that the logs are attached to.

Morten Nisker's Playhouse- a tiny fort in Denmark

This one was sent in by Morten Nisker, a reader from Denmark- a great little tiny house/clubhouse that he built and designed.
